aori works as an illustrator/animator. She mainly makes animations for videos of nursery rhymes.
She started to make frame-by-frame animations in watercolor paintings in 2022 since it is always what she wanted to do and loves to do. During the pandemic, staying home helped her to be more serious about putting herself into what she really wanted to do in life.
Her goal is to make artworks evoking simply good feelings by viewing.
She was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. Creation has been her essential tool to express things that are hard to verbalize.
Although clear verbalization is extremely important to be a part of society, she believes visual expression is still universal and very effective in communicating.
She graduated from San Francisco State University with a BFA and lived in Bay Area for several years. Currently, she resides in Amsterdam, the Netherlands to immerse herself in the whole new culture.
