It took about 2 weeks from an idea to the final pattern design, but I got very hyped when the repeating came out lovely.
This is the final design paired with ducks-foot-print patterns. The original design was the right, beige color and then the deep green design was added.
This is the scanned sketches. I used this lovely sketching images without coloring. I loved the pencil line’s warm texture.
This is the flower motifs illustrated with Adobe Fresco. I used a few different brushes such as watercolor, charcoal, and pastel. Then I made flower arrangements in Adobe Illustrator just like you do with real flowers! It is a very fun process.
This is the final stage of design completion. This file size became humongous, so it took extra time to build this entire pattern design.
Conclusion
Ducks and flowers are just a perfect combination of two aesthetically pleasing beings.
